If you want your last baby free holiday to be steeped in culture then Istanbul is a perfect place to start offering the Topkapi Place, St. Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar.

Take a half day Bosporus cruise or visit a spice market or relax in a restaurant watching the famous Turkish tradition of belly dancing. If it’s a beach you’re after then the Blue Lagoon of Olu Deniz has calm, crystal clear waters which are great for exploring and spotting the odd seal. The beautiful inland bay that stretches behind the cape is a protected area and part of a national park. Just be warned – there’s a small entrance fee.
If you’re staying in Marmaris take a trip over to Dalyan Caunos with its ancient King Tombs, Reed-lined river, miles of sandy beach and world-famous Caretta Caretta sea turtle or visit Ephesus with its ancient ruins.

Passports and Visas
You will need a visa to visit Turkey but these can be bought for £10 each on the plane or from a travel agent if you’re booking here. Of course you’ll also need your passport.
Health and safety
You don’t need any special vaccines when visiting this country but make sure you’re immunisations are up to date before you go.

Like much of the Med, Turkey gets hot in the summer so if you’re planning on exploring opt for a late spring month.
